报告摘要:Research on understanding the formation process of planetary systems has been progressing very rapidly in recent years, but there are still many unknowns. In this talk, mainly focusing on high-resolution observations using ALMA, I would like to talk about such as the growth of dust (solid) suggested in protoplanetary disks and the ongoing observational project to probe detailed gas kinematics in disks, along with a review of this science field.
主讲人简介: Misato Fukagawa is the East Asia ALMA Regional Center manager and one of the astronomers working on planetary system formation. She belongs to NAOJ and is a faculty member of the Graduate University for Advanced Studies and the University of Tokyo. She has worked on high-angular-resolution observations of protoplanetary disks, and also participates with other researchers in discussions about future directions of planetary formation science with next-generation observing capabilities.
