Professor at NAOC working on dark matter and cosmology. Since 2012, he has been appointed/recommended by The Ministry of Science and Technology as the Chinese Representative at several committees and working groups of the International SKA Organisation, including the Strategy Committee (StratCom), Funding Task Force, Formal Inter-Governmental Negotiation Work Group, and the SKA Board of Directors.

Abstract:

I will give a comprehensive overview of the international mega-science project SKA, it's status, progress, and the involvement and activities of the Chinese community.
